Everything about this occasion says summer. There’s a carefree feel about this look, it captures the time of holiday, where there is in fact no time at all, it ebbs and flows at its own pace. The colour palette celebrates the romance and magic of the Italian coastline. There are greens which we see in the delicate pattern of the table linen, a sky blue in the napkin and pinks in the glassware and crockery. The whole look is grounded with the darker chair and cutlery – a nod to to the historic nature of the spaces we’ve been inspired by. The florals are happy, colourful and textured, in small bright vases and glassware.

Welcome to our tablescape series. This series is born out of the fact that everywhere we go, we see snapshots, be it a countryside vista, a city landscape, a piece of fashion or a work of art and we see a tablescape. It's very odd, we know and 100% the by-product of the job we do but rather than keep these images in our head we thought we'd start sharing them and the stories we create behind them.
