Two Temple Place is a stunning neo-Gothic, grade two listed mansion located in the heart of London. Built in the late 19th century, the building boasts intricate carvings, stained glass windows, and a grand staircase that will take your breath away. The mansion was originally built for the world’s then richest man, William Waldorf Astor. It has since been used for a variety of purposes, including as a museum, event space and also featured in the film Bridget Jones and TV series Downton Abbey.

As you approach the building, the exterior is impressively imposing, formal and grand, as you step inside, the interiors work their magic by giving you a warm and inviting hug, perfect for setting the ambience for your intimate event.
SOCIAL PANTRY HOSTED AN IMPRESSIVE PARTY WITH A FORAGED, SUSTAINABLE MENU
Social Pantry hosted a lavish evening with a foraged, seasonal and sustainable menu, curated cocktails by The 43 Club, elegant stationery by Sixfold Studio and luxurious floral designs by Wildabout. Production company Fisher further enhanced the atmosphere with their exceptional lighting designs. Euphonica, a string quartet added to the ambience and theatre of the event with their genre-crossing, boundary-jumping soundscape. The music was enhanced by the excellent acoustics of the high ceilings of the Great Hall.
We ate canapes with wild mushrooms, pine smoke sea trout, nettle and sorrel and pickled seaweed. The main event was full of choices, including sour dough with bloody mary butter, celeriac carpaccio, black truffle, roast pumpkin, ricotta salata, halibut with turnip puree and sea beets. For the finale, we devoured dark chocolate and damson macaroons and miso and vanilla mille feuille; delicious mouth watering delights.
The cocktails matched in both flavour and uniqueness, tingling our taste buds with spiced rum infused with British pears, fresh lemon and apple juice before dinner and 43 Club’s zero waste espresso martini after dinner.
At the end of the evening we were given a small memento from artist Nia Benyon. Nia created unique still life art pieces throughout the evening that captured the magical quality of the night; a special and exclusive keepsake for a special and exclusive night; that's Two Temples for you!
