Layer your lighting for the perfect table

We are such huge believers of soft lighting. It makes everything feel cosier and just, well, better! We love a table to have a few layers of lighting, not overhead but local to the table. This creates an overall glow feeling special and intimate. We would suggest investing in lamps, we love the Pooky rechargeable lamps especially as they have three brightness settings.

Then between your lamps, introduce tall taper candles in warm toned candlesticks. You can get these in such a brilliant array of colours now and even painted with gorgeous designs. We’re not suggesting you buy a whole new tablescape every season so we’d either suggest adding little touches or alternatively hiring. Dress the part

Hosting A/W celebrations – this is absolutely the chance to add to your wardrobe with a few key pieces. One of our favourite elements of this season is the colour palette – rich plum tones, jewel colours and warm neutrals. A jumpsuit is an incredible addition to your wardrobe and feels so chic whilst being really easy to wear. Pair with warm, gold jewellery and you’ll be feeling perfectly on trend for the season.
